Great service with excellent staff. Really good variety of foods. Easy parking.
Good range of fresh, frozen and dry goods. Friendly, helpful staff. Better range than IGA.
We shop there all the time and Rebecca keeps the youfoodz stocked up, as we buy 14 meals per week, just one thing, all the staff need to wear name badges, great clean shop and lovely staff thanks to all.
Everything you need including bottle shop. Centre of town.
Independent Groceries, IGA, in Broken Hill is an absolute standout. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with a warm, welcoming atmosphere that makes shopping a pleasure. The customer service here is exceptional—staff go above and beyond to help with a genuine friendliness that’s hard to find these days. What really sets this IGA apart is its unique selection. They stock items, like Asian food and specialty products, that you just can’t find anywhere else—not even at the big supermarkets like Coles or Woolworths. Their fresh produce is top-notch, and you can tell care is taken to ensure quality. If you’re looking for great service, fresh goods, and a personal touch, this is the place to go. Absolutely lovely!
Nice clean place. Good selection of items. Friendly and very helpful staff. It's a bit on the expensive side for some things but not bad at all for a convenience store (it is essentially a large convenience store.) Most of the grocery items are only a little bit more expensive than Coles or Woolies. Not the place for a weekly food shop but good for picking up things you forgot to buy or ran out of on the way home from work.
Bit small but has everything nice and quiet and quick
